The Kingston Huskies Youth Cheerleading Squads are made up of children 5-14 years of age residing in the Kingston Community & Surrounding Territories. These territories include: Wilkes-Barre, Plains, Dallas, Pittston, Luzerne and anything outside of the Wyoming Valley West Youth Football and Cheerleading Conference( WVWYFCC).

Physicals
-As per WVWYFCC by-laws, a physical is required for all participants. Typically, physicals are valid for one (1) year from the date they are issued from a heath care provider. For returning participants, parents/guardians will be notified that their child(ren) need an updated physical. However, it is vital to immediately schedule an appointment with your child(ren)'s health care provider for a physical. For new participants, please provide a physical from your doctor before the start of practices.

*Physical MUST SAY "CLEARED FOR CHEERLEADING" if your health care provider does not write this
we CAN NOT accept the physical.
**Physicals for the 2019 season are due by August 1, 2019. Participants can not practice or be on the field
after August 1, 2019 without a physical.

Games & Practices
-Football games are every Sunday (unless we have a by-week) during the season and times are as followed:
D Team @11am
C Team @12:15pm
B Team @1:30pm
A Team @3:00pm
-Coaches will specify what time cheerleaders need to be at the field by on game days. Cheerleaders are encouraged to attend other level games if they are able to.

-Practices for each squad vary at different levels, once the season starts the coaches will let the cheerleaders know what time and days practices will be. Please consider joining our Facebook Page to ensure you hear about any last minute cancellations or time changes. Coaches have their own system on notifying parents but the board also posts these changes in case we do not have update contact information.

Competitions
-The WVWYFCC will hold one League competition every season. This is scheduled for the last Saturday in September and every level will compete. Throughout the season the cheerleading squads will be invited to participate in other competitions besides the League one. It is up to the coaches discretion on what competitions they would like to compete in. Coaches will notify parents/guardians on each competition they are participating in and a copy of the schedule can be found by clicking the schedule tab or by Clicking Here.
